About
Jonathan Pinkston
Jonathan Pinkston is a holistic health practitioner and whole-systems designer, whose work bridges holistic medicine, artificial intelligence, regenerative real estate, and public policy. Rather than viewing these disciplines as separate, he sees them as interconnected systems that shape human health, communities, and the future of society.
His work is guided by a simple belief: the systems we create should help people become healthier, more connected, and more capable of flourishing.
Medicine & Human Health
For more than fifteen years, Jonathan has practiced integrative medicine, combining Chinese Medicine with extensive study in Ayurveda and functional medicine. His clinical philosophy focuses on treating the root causes of illness rather than simply managing symptoms, helping patients restore balance through individualized, whole-person care.
His background in medicine continues to influence every venture he pursues, providing a systems-based framework for understanding complexity, resilience, and long-term health.
AI & The Future of Technology
As an AI developer and entrepreneur, Jonathan explores how emerging technologies can enhance—not replace—human potential. His work focuses on agentic AI systems that improve decision-making, streamline complex workflows, and expand access to knowledge while remaining grounded in ethics and human-centered design.
He believes the next generation of technology should serve people first, empowering individuals, businesses, and communities to thrive.
Regenerative Real Estate
Jonathan has spent nearly two decades investing in and developing real estate with an emphasis on long-term sustainability and attainable housing. Over the years, he has built more than 30 tiny homes across the United States while exploring innovative approaches to regenerative development and community design.
His vision is to create places that are not only economically successful but also environmentally responsible and socially resilient.
Leadership & Public Service
Jonathan is actively involved in nonprofit conservation efforts and civic initiatives throughout Sonoma County. His long-term vision is to help shape the future of California through thoughtful leadership that brings together innovation, healthcare, environmental stewardship, and responsible technology policy.
He believes many of society’s greatest challenges can be addressed by designing better systems rather than simply reacting to their consequences.
Beyond Work
Outside of his professional pursuits, Jonathan is a musician, writer, restaurateur, and lifelong traveler who has visited more than 120 countries. These experiences have broadened his understanding of culture, healthcare, entrepreneurship, and the many ways communities solve shared challenges.
Whether treating patients, building technology, developing communities, or contributing to public life, Jonathan remains committed to creating practical solutions that improve lives today while helping build a more resilient future for generations to come.
